Step-by-Step Build Guide
Step 1: Start a blank exploration
- • Open GA4 > Explore and choose the Blank template.
- • Rename the exploration to AI Traffic & Conversions by Page.
Step 2: Import dimensions
- • Import Landing page + query string.
- • Import Session source.
- • Import Session default channel group (optional).
Step 3: Import metrics
- • Import Sessions.
- • Import Engaged sessions.
- • Import Conversions.
- • Import Purchase revenue.
Step 4: Build tab settings
- • Rows: Landing page + query string.
- • Rows: Session source (as secondary row).
- • Values: Sessions, Engaged sessions, Conversions, Purchase revenue.
Step 5: Filter for AI traffic
- • Filter: Session source.
- • Condition: matches regex.
- • Regex value: use the AI source regex below.
Optional Step 6: Narrow to page groups
- • Add a filter for Landing page + query string if you want to isolate a page set.
- • Use the optional page path regex below for categories, templates, or campaign pages.
